Say goodbye to sad songs...

One day, I was listening to nostalgic music (70's classic rock)- singing along with these songs with great emotion and deep feeling. Great songs, like Linda Ronstadt, "When Will I Be Loved", Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", The Eagle's "Desperado" (your prison is walking this world all alone).

My son heard me sing these words with great conviction and connection - and said, "Jeesh, Mom, it's no wonder your love life sucked- Are you listening to those lyrics?"

That was an "Aha Moment" for me too. The vibrations I was sending out, the words I was speaking / singing were that of loneliness, heartbreak and disappointment. I vowed that I would pay more attention to lyrics from that point on, and let in only the good messages...
